The Flu Line does not take messages when closed. We will continue H1N1 vaccinations by appointment. Please call when the Flu Line is open to schedule an appointment. If you need to cancel an appointment for any reason, please call 694-4040 from 9:00 - noon, Monday through Thursday. If you are unable to call during those times, it is not necessary to call another number, just call back at the next opportunity to reschedule. The Health Department’s supply of nasal spray H1N1 vaccine is limited and will not be available after March 30. For children 6 months through 9 years of age who need a second dose of H1N1 vaccine after March 30th, injectable vaccine is available. Ideally the same type of vaccine should be used for both. If different types of vaccine are used for the first and second doses, there is no need to revaccinate the child. The doses should be separated by at least one month (28 days).
